Customer Service Representative - Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

Harbor Sweets® is currently in search of an experienced, organized and motivated individual to join our growing team! The Customer Service Representative will report to the Customer Service Manager and will assist with the day-to-day order processing and direct interaction with customers. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, promptly answering phones and directing calls as needed, building relationships with existing and potential customers, processing orders through our order entry system, MOM, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications Include:

  • Prior experience in customer service or order fulfillment is preferred
  • Proficiency with order entry and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a seasonal fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks
  • Proactive problem solver with ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Physical ability to sit for long periods of time, talk on the phone and enter information into the computer for at least 70% of the day

 

Maintenance Technician

Harbor Sweets® is currently in search of an experienced, organized and motivated individual to join our growing Maintenance team! The Maintenance Technician will report to the Operations Manager and will oversee Harbor Sweets' building, grounds and all equipment to ensure the organization maintains the standard of safety and cleanliness required for a food production facility. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coordinating and managing daily maintenance and repairs of building and equipment; working with outside vendors for repairs and installations; and receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries.

Required Skills & Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years experience in facilities/maintenance
  • Ability to work effectively in a seasonal fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks and willingness to work extra hours as necessary (including Saturdays) during height of holiday season (from mid-November to end December)
  • Computer literate with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Physical ability to work in a production/shipping environment, requiring standing for long periods of time as well as lifting, carrying and climbing on a regular basis
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
