Each month, we choose one lucky winner from our newsletter list to receive a FREE 36 piece chocolate assortment. And if you’ve signed up for SMS, you’ll get an extra entry! 

Winners will be notified via email on the last Thursday of each month. If this isn’t your lucky month, don’t worry  — we’ll keep your name in the pool for next time. Good luck!

Terms and Conditions


Eligibility

  • The Monthly Chocolate Giveaway ("Giveaway") is open to legal residents of the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and other overseas territories), aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Entrants must be an active member of the Harbor Sweets email or SMS marketing list at the time of drawing and must have opened an email or SMS within one year. Wholesale and corporate customers are excluded from winning.
  • Employees, agents, or affiliates of Harbor Sweets and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

Sponsor

  • This Giveaway is sponsored by Harbor Sweets, located at 85 Leavitt Street, Salem, MA 01970 (“Sponsor”).

How to Enter

  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.
  • To enter, participants must sign up to our email marketing newsletter list and/or the SMS marketing newsletter list.
  • Joining the email list and the SMS list count as two separate entries. Only one (1) email and one (1) SMS entry per person per month is allowed, however a person can submit both an email and SMS entry, and those entries will count separately. 
  • Winners will be drawn from the active email and SMS lists. Entrants must have opened or interacted with email or an SMS within the past year to qualify. 
  • Entries must be received by 3:00pm on the last Thursday day of each month to qualify for that month’s drawing.

Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a monthly chocolate box valued at approximately $40-50 USD. Exact assortment of chocolate may vary per month. Odds depends on the number of entries received.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.

Winner Selection

  • One (1) winner will be randomly selected on or about the last Thursday of each month from all eligible entries.
  • Winners will be notified by email or direct message within five (5) business days of selection. Winners must submit shipping information to receive prize.
  • If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days, a new winner may be selected.
  • Previous winners will be excluded from future drawings.

Publicity

  • By entering, participants agree to allow the Sponsor to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

General Conditions

  • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway at any time without notice.
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries due to technical or human error.

Privacy

  • All personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

  • By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with the Giveaway or the receipt or use of any prize.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States of America.
